a/d/s: Very nice smooth sounding speaker, large 1.25" soft dome tweeters, yes soft dome.... Those are my personal choice. They don't make your ears bleed when you turn it up. The crossover design is top notch, you have the option to bi-amplify the drivers I.E. use the crossover but able to use separate channels to amplify the tweeter and driver. They do need a little more power to sound good. Usually about 60 (quality) watts per channel minimum.Focal: Very efficient speaker setup, Their Kevlar series are a good mix of build quality with price. Morel: By far the best drivers I have ever listened to. Very high power handling capability. If you can afford it the 3" voice coil version go for it. The sound is accurate, tight, not overbearing. The best way I can explain it is they have a transparent quality to them. I strongly recommend to listen all three manufacturers. Since I don't know what kind of music you listen to some speakers may be a better match for your application.
